The team at DCC Health & Beauty Solutions is small and works closely with the teams at the three manufacturing sites.

Stephen O'Connor

Group Managing Director

Stephen joined the company in 1997 as Finance Director, becoming Managing Director in 2001. He graduated with an electronics degree and subsequently trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Touche Ross in Cardiff. Stephen has a wide experience of manufacturing, financial control and business management in a variety of industries including steel, automotive, electronics and printing.

Louise Cruickshanks
Group Business Development Director

Louise studied at School of Pharmacy University of London before a career in pharmaceutical product development, product acquisition and international healthcare brand development. Louise joined DCC Health & Beauty Solutions following her career in innovation delivery of leading FMCG and healthcare brands. As a qualified pharmacist she has the technical knowledge to support the customer needs along with the commercial experience essential when managing international leading businesses.
Martin de Vries
European Business Development

Martin studied international business at Hofstra University in New York and political and communication science at the University of Amsterdam. He started his own contract manufacturing company in 1998 and sold the company to DCC in 2010. At DCC, Martin is responsible for business development, where he matches customers with the right people within the group. Martin has a very broad experience in the European VMS market. His passion is in developing new relations and helping customers develop their business.
Sarah Fernihough

Sales and Business Development Director, Laleham Healthcare Ltd

With a degree in European marketing and French, and a keen interest in consumer brands and FMCG, Sarah joined Laleham in 2006 at a pivotal time in the strategic direction of the business following the acquisition by DCC. With a proven ability to create, design, translate and deliver concepts into tangible, profitable and durable/robust brands and products, Sarah has held a number of senior product, sales and business development positions in successful UK based contract manufacturers. For more than 16 years, Sarah has been involved in every aspect of the product lifecycle across a number of diverse sectors, serving private label, premium, mass and global branded customers.

Dr Paul Hardman
Sales and Business Development Director, Thompson & Capper Ltd

With a lifescience degree and then a background of research followed by FMCG product/process development (with Unilever), Paul then moved into technical sales, marketing and business management in speciality chemicals manufacturing (Crosfield/Ineos Silicas). Over the last 10 years, Paul has held director positions in speciality chemicals distribution companies (Azelis: S Black UK, Broste Scandinavia) sourcing, marketing, selling and distributing speciality/innovative raw materials to customers across a broad range of industries particularly personal care, healthcare and food.
Brett Tomlin
Sales and Business Development Director, EuroCaps Ltd

Brett has been Sales and Business Development Director at EuroCaps since 2008. Holding a chemistry degree from Cardiff University, Brett has over fifteen years’ senior sales, marketing and technical experience in the nutritional and pharmaceutical industries.
Cecilia Karlsson
Sales Director & Director Strategic Purchasing, Vitamex Manufacturing AB

With a Economie magister degree, Cecilia started her international career in Spain, mainly in the food industry where she was responsible for sales, purchasing, product development and marketing for several product categories (with the Carrefour Group). After spending almost eight years abroad, Cecilia joined Vitamex in 2005, where she continued her career in international sales and business development. Over the last seven years, Cecilia has held the director position in sales, business development and purchasing at Vitamex with focus to deliver conceptual business ideas to finished customized products, developed in partnership together with our customers.
